The Silas dining table made of FSC-certified ash wood in the light grey colour dust is from the mutoni living collection. The Silas series has a contemporary, modern look and provides a good basis for furnishing. Material The table top is made of ash wood (finger-jointed), sanded and lacquered in the colour dust. The frame is made of metal with a matt black powder coating. Ash is a slightly soft wood with a narrow, straight grain. The straight grain makes ash wood easy to bend, which makes it very suitable for the furniture industry. Treated ash wood is strong and durable, but untreated ash wood can move a lot and yellow quickly. Sanded ash has a clean, smooth appearance. Brushed ash wood has more character and band-sawn ash wood looks very robust and rough. Dimensions - Height: 75 cm - Width: 220 cm - Depth: 90 cm - Thickness of table top: 2 cm - Distance between table edge and leg: 15 cm - Height of legs: 73 cm - Thickness of legs: 5 mm Maintenance Treated ash wood is easy to clean with a slightly damp, clean cloth. Stains on untreated ash wood can be removed with an absorbent, clean cloth. For stubborn stains, ash wood can be lightly re-treated. Sand the wood with 180-grit sandpaper, then the ash wood can be well protected with an oil, wax, varnish or stain of your choice. Untreated ash wood is not suitable for outdoor use. Delivery The dining table is delivered in a package and is easy to assemble using the assembly instructions provided. To protect hard floors, place felt glides under the legs.
